3D pattern cutting

Today I have been 3D pattern cutting and I have been referencing my visual research of horizons and how they could be interpreted into panels of colours ( I am debating whether to use contrasting colours, or complementary)

I learnt to 3D pattern cut by taping areas/ shapes you want to creat eon the mannequin and tracing them off onto pattern paper and being accurate by using a pattern master and tape measure insures accuracy. I like this way of working much more than flat pattern cutting, this allows more freedom and flexibility.
